The Ultimate Ice Hockey Challenge board are pleased to announce the addition of the Infusion Synchronised Skating Teams to further enhance the showcase’s match-day experience.

The senior team brings a host of international competition experience, after a winning performance in Sydney that was able to qualify them to skate at the World Championships in Hamilton, Ontario where they competed and did Australia proud.

They are also looking to win the 2015 Nationals, which is being held in Penrith, NSW during November. A winning performance in this would see them qualify to represent Australia at the 2016 World Champions in Budapest, Hungary.

The junior infusion team who will be skating prior the the 24th of October UIHC showcase are a newly formed team, and will aim to compete at the National Titles in September.

UIHC Director John Caputo said the girls international experience will be sure to put on as good of a show as the Ice Hockey Challenge itself.

“The aim of the UIHC is to showcase the top levels of skating talent in our state, and it wouldn’t be complete without both the infusion junior and senior teams,” Caputo said.

“The senior teams achievements both nationally, and world wide are highly regarded by the whole Ice Hockey Western Australia community, and we are glad they will be able to show their talents in front of what is expected to be a capacity crowd.

“Infusion senior will be opening the event, and their routines will be of as high a standard as the Northern Stars vs. Southern Suns game itself.”

Be sure to arrive at Xtreme Ice Arena by 5:30pm on Saturday the 17th and 24th and 31st of October, and experience this amazing showcase of West Australian ice skating talent.
